However, it is not a direct investment; you will have three years to spend the minimum amount or more on your business.
How long does it take to become a permanent resident in Paraguay?
So, becoming a permanent resident through the temporary residency phase will cost time. The processing time for the "tr" is 3 to 6 months. First, you must travel to Paraguay and apply for a temporary residency permit. Then, you can leave the country or wait until the Migration issues the permit. Then, the resident applies for the ID card (one month processing time) and the tax number: exactly one year and seven months later, application for a permanent residency permit. The processing time is again 3 to 6 months. Then you will need a new identity card as well.
How long does it take to become a permanent resident in Paraguay through the residency by investment program?
Forty-five days from the date of application is enough time to receive the Paraguay permanent residency permit and the ID card (cedula).
